Day 19: Automne Sweet Autumn

It is day 19 already and we only have 5 days to go untill Christmas Eve. Testing the Micallef Advent Box has been challenging at times as the quality of the fragrances differs so much. There are some perfume I really like: Patchouli and Avant Garde. But others are either to sweet like Mon Parfum and Automne today, too masculine like Le Seducteur or oud fragrances. As I wrote in the article about Emir, I am suffering of oud exhaustion. Which is really bad as it is such a classic  and now overused ingredient in classic perfumery.

Normally I do not try a whole line in a row. But it allowes me to have a very good idea of the Micallef Perfume House. The bottles come beautifully adorned with chrystals. But I do not care too much about the beauty of the bottles. Although some of the bottles look really nice on the pictures. To me the actual perfume is all that matters.

Automne is a sweet red fruit perfume with Angelesque allure and spices like nutmeg and cumin. It is much too candied for my taste as many fragrances are nowadays. So I will not be reviewing it any further.

Automne means autumn in French and is part of the Les 4 seasons collection.
